Coach Prabh Jot Singh (P.J.), begins his third season as the Lady Clippers Head Coach. He ended his second season as the Head Coach for the University of Maine at Machias Lady Clippers with an impressive 16-3-2 and made their way to West Virginia for the USCAA National Tournament and repeated a 1-1 record. The YSCC title was lost on penalty kicks on a windy afternoon where things did not go the Clippers’ way. However, they did receive an at large bid thanks to the wonderful year they had.
In the 2012-13 Season, the Clippers recorded a 13-6 record and retained the YSCC championships. A trip to Nationals with a record of 1-1 in North Carolina and have started the season with a win already.
Coach Singh a former UMM Clipper himself and so was his wife (Class of 2005) both played for Coach MJ Ball from 2001-2005. Singh was a member of a very successful clippers program that won 3 regular season Sunrise Conferences (2 undefeated) and a trip to Tyler, Texas for a National tournament.
Coming from Accra, Ghana and being born to Indians, PJ feels finding the right people matters most first when recruiting to UMM. “We are a unique place, people who want to be successful in and out of the classroom in a small rural environment can add to the program are welcome. I am looking to share my positive experience at UMM with these student-athletes.”
