Clippers lose to Ohio Midwestern College in the National Tournament
Ohio Midwestern took a 1-0 lead in the 30th minute when they played a through ball to Kara McClain and caught the Clippers defense out of position. McClain was able to score easily off the breakaway they created. The Clippers held Midwestern for the rest of the first half. In the 50th minute Midwestern caught the Clipper's defense sleeping again playing a through ball to Sydney Kurz who put the ball past the keeper to put Ohio Midwestern ahead 2-0. Kurz put the game away six minutes later when Ohio Midwestern slotted a ball through again to make it 3-0. Kurz went on to score twice more in the last 10 minutes as the Clippers fell to Ohio Midwestern 5-0.
