Cross Country Nationals in Syracuse, NY

Paige Wiechman, (SR), had a very impressive season for the Clippers this fall. Paige worked hard and earned herself top ten finishes throughout the season. NHTI hosted the 2013 conference race and the weather couldn't have been any nicer. The crowd was ready and anticipated a very competitive conference championship. Paige completed her 5K race finishing third to qualify her for nationals in Syracuse, NY on November 8, 2013. There were schools from all over the country, all a part of the USCAA. Paige competed against 146 female runners and she finished an impressive fourteenth. This earned Paige second team all American. This was a great achievement for her to end her bright college career. Coach Lupo stated, "It was an honor to coach and watch Paige in all these races and to compete at a high level, and she always pushed herself harder every practice and every race."
Paige also received an all-academic honor as part of the USCAA. This is also an outstanding achievement needing a 3.5 GPA or higher plus other qualifications. We are very proud of Paige and all her success this season. GO CLIPPERS!
