Men’s Soccer struggles against Paul Smith’s and Green Mountain College

Men's soccer traveled to Paul Smith's College this weekend for a YSCC conference game where they were defeated 3-0 by the Bobcats. Nathan Smith, Corey Nystrom, and Kyle King all scored one goal in the game for the Bobcats while the Clippers were unable to put the ball in the back of the net. Alvaro Saldana led the Clippers with 3 shots and 2 shots on goal. Abdallah Mostafa and Agustin Licanzo had 2 shots each in the game. After an injury to the starting keeper, midfielder Jason Miller defended the posts recording 7 saves with 10 shots on goal.

Men's Soccer was defeated by the hosting Green Mountain College Eagles this weekend by a total score of 7-0. The Clippers were dominated throughout most of the game allowing the Eagles to record 32 shots with 16 shots on goal. Goalie Jason Miller recorded a total of 9 saves during the game. While the Clippers were able to maintain a substantial about of shots (16), they were unable to capitalize. Elias Reyes led the team with 5 shots followed by Lucas Logan with 4 and Devonte Stevens, Agustin Licanzo, and Abdullah Mustafa with 2 shots apiece. The Clippers look to bounce back from this loss as they have a week to rest before traveling to New Hampshire to face the defending conference champions NHTI.
