Clippers Finish National Tournament With A Win

The University of Maine at Machias Men's Basketball Team started the consolation game against the Fighting Saints with a mission to win a game at Nationals and they would not be denied.  The team shot over 46% from the field and wanted to be the first team to accomplish this goal of winning a game at the USCAA National Tournament.  They defeated the College of St. Joseph, 71-55 for the win.  The team stepped up without their leading scorer, Ben Teer, who suffered an injury the previous day. Jorge Milo led the team with 29 points and 5 rebounds, followed by Brandon Blakely with 14 points and 2 rebounds and Travonne Thompson scored 11 points and hauled in 15 rebounds. Congratulations Clippers!
