Clippers Fall Short in National Tournament

The Clippers came out strong in the first half, with Ben Teer scoring the first 8 points to take the team to an early lead.  Unfortunately, the team was unable to hold the lead and was trailing by one at the half, 34-35.  In a game that was physical on both ends, the depth of the Warren Wilson Owls roster began to take its toll on our Clippers.  The team fought until the last buzzer, but ended up falling to the Owls, 82-68.  Ben Teer led all scorers with 24.  This means that our Clippers will not have an opportunity to move forward in the winner's bracket and will not be in the hunt for the National Championship.  The team falls to the consolation bracket and will play the College of St. Joseph's at 12 Noon on Friday in their last game of the 2015-2016 season.  The game will be live fed at http://basketball.theuscaa.com/live. Go Clippers!
